A fine specimen in its natural habitat
Now part of the western sprawl of Luxembourg city, this monkey puzzle tree is growing on a street named after Alexandre de Colnet (d'Huart) who was a politician, finance minister and signatory to the Luxembourg constitution. He was the mayor of Bertrange in his later years. (1821 - 1905). The growth of the tree is evident from a Google Streetview image from 2009 when it was about the height of very tall person.
