The Story
This photo dates from October 2021, so I do hope this male monkey puzzle tree on Salmon Lane, Stonehaven is still around. It has not been picked up by any other connoisseur of Stonehaven's monkey puzzle complement. It is practically on the beach and certainly gets the salt from the sea, but as you may notice it was producing plenty pollen back in 2021.

Ah great, I'll need to check it out, in Stonehaven once a month with work, although I fear for its well-being as it looks like it was beginning to outgrow the available accommodation..!
